Ball State's online bachelor's degree in applied behavior analysis with an emphasis in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) prepares students to address the growing labor market need for ABA professionals. The program emphasizes proven techniques and principles to bring about positive change in socially significant behavior for children and adults. Students learn to address behavior and solve social problems and relationships between individuals, family members, or people in the community. The program is offered completely online with part- and full-time options. All courses are asynchronous, allowing students to complete coursework on their own schedule while meeting weekly deadlines. Graduates will be prepared for roles as behavioral consultants and therapists in various settings, including school districts, autism centers, and mental health centers. The program also provides a foundation for advanced graduate degrees in ABA, school psychology, counseling psychology, and related fields. It is the first bachelor's degree in ABA in Indiana and one of only a few online undergraduate degrees in this field available in the nation.
